Harbour Porpoise washed up on Ferryden beach. Sex undetermined due
to decomposition underneath. Left cheek area missing and entire of
body heavily raked through Bottlenose Dolphin attack. Length 5ft.
Carcass was secured to defence railings to prevent the tide from
taking it out to sea or into the harbour. Environmental Health
notified by Medic Elaine Roft who agreed to uplift. Thanks to Medic
Jacque Watt for securing the carcass and confirming species, length
and trauma.
